Question by : is it illegal to go into someone’s account?
so my ex who is my sons father is gonna prosecute me on “hacking” his facebook account. I don’t hack his account. I know the password because he never changed his password from when we were dating. my ex hacks me everyday and my passwords are always changed i can never get into my accounts. anyway i wanna know is it illegal to go into someones account when you know the password? and if yes what are the charges if any?

Hacking means accessing the account without his permission. What you claim in this question you did IS hacking. Actually, if you KNOW his password, YOU are in violation of Facebook terms.

Yes, what you are doing is illegal. You may not access any one’s account for Facebook, a bank, a club, or whatever without their express permission. Whether he changes his password or not is totally irrelevant. Knowing & using his account password is a violation of Facebook’s terms of service as well.
