Jailbreak PlayStation 3 on 3.55 Tutorial

Follow the guide below to Jailbreak your PS3 for free

Step 1: First of all you will you will need to download  PS3 Jailbreak.zip

Step 2:Plug a USB stick into your computer, and click to open drive.

Step 3:On your USB drive create a folder caled PS3,  and then create another folder called UPDATE inside the PS3 folder.

Step 4:Unzip the Jailbreak.zip that you downloaded in step 1, you find 1 file inside caleed PS3UPDAT.PUP, place the  PS3UPDAT.PUP file into the /PS3/UPDATE/ folder of your USB drive, to make that clear insert PS3UPDAT.PUP into the UPDATE folder.

Step 5:With your PS3 console turned off insert the USB drive into your Playstation 3..

Step 6: Now press and hold the power button, the system will startup and shutdown again.

Step 7:Release the power button, then press and hold power again, you’ll hear one beep followed by two consecutive beeps.

Step 8:Release power then follow the on-screen instructions. You’re now in the PS3 recovery menu.

Step 9:Connect the USB device and select “System Update.”

Step 10:Select the option – Update via Storage Media

Step 11:It will notify you that it has found update Version 3.55-jb

Step 12 Select OK

Step 13:Click to Accept Conditions and Install the Update

Step 14:After a short time, your PS3 will update, then beep 4 times then shut down.

Step 15:Power up your PS3 via the power button on your PS3 console, (not by the controller)

And thats it you have just hacked your PS3, your PS3 console is now on firmware 3.55 its jailbroken
